Hi there Neighbors...I hope everyone is doing well, safe and healthy, with everything going on around us! I just wanted to give residents a heads up, that our Deed Restriction Committee Members have been busy canvassing the neighborhood. Some of the more common things that they have reported seeing are weeds in flower beds and bushes needing trimmed. I get it, it’s summer, extremely hot and a little rain makes things grow like crazy. They just need a little attention. Houses are starting to fade, and paint is peeling. Please consider maintaining our most expensive investment. Garbage cans should not be visible from the street, on non trash days, except for having them out to be picked up. Debris should not be left on and around your property. Boats and RV’s are not to be stored on our property. As much as we love them, your neighbors might not. Commercial vehicles are not allowed to be parked at our residences over night. Remember, the definition of a Commercial Vehicle differs from the county, and was defined by River Crossing’s HOA Attorney. As President of River Crossing, this is always the frustrating part of the position...trying to motivate residents to maintain their residences, and respect our neighbors. We are all adults, and I’m hopeful that all we need is a little reminder. Please look around your residence and do a self inspection. If your neighbor needs help, help them. Let’s get this neighborhood back on the map as being a beautiful place to live and keep our property values rising! Regards, Brian Bickerton, DC President, River Crossing HOA Units 1-10
